In spring 2023 I was asked to make some proposals for art in a new building in Maarssenbroek, NL. I offered a wall installation in the staircases made from ginkgo leaves and it was accepted. I made 2 installations: one of green ginkgo leaves of about 70 pieces for the smaller staircase, and the second one of about 90 yellow leaves for the bigger staircase where it acompanies my installation of green moss. I casted the leaves with a mineral mix. I painted every leave, so that they really look different.
The mounting was a bit tricky, because the leaves really fell (not only giving the impression to fall as in autumn), but of course everything worked out fine.
